Sabrina's drug use began in the aftermath of a childhood trauma. By the time she was 17, she was a single mother and by the age of 18, she was a daily crystal meth smoker. She had no success with five different treatment programs before entering the PROMETA program. Sabrina is now attending business school and has her son back in her life.
Terrence started getting drunk when he was 12 years old. As an adult, drinking cost him his marriage, and nearly his life. Now in recovery, Terrence is back in touch with his adult children and feeling much better about his health.
Chance had been using a variety of drugs since before he was in his teens. When his girlfriend became aware of his dependence on crack cocaine, she tried everything she could to help him, but nothing worked. Eventually, Chance became homeless and sleeping under a bridge for two weeks. After completing the PROMETA program, Chance now feels like he can really focus on the causes of his addiction. After overcoming 35 years of addiction, Chance says he feels like a new man, and his relationship with his girlfriend is now better than he could ever have imagined.
When Christa met Chance, she didn't know about his cocaine addiction. When she found out, she wasn't sure what to do. She didn't want to leave him, but she didn't know how to help him either. Christa discovered the PROMETA Treatment Program online. After researching everything she could find, she and Chance decided that PROMETA was their best option.
Greg was in alcohol recovery for 16 years, but still found himself struggling with the anxiety, cravings and an inability to stay focused. Even though he had stopped drinking, he was still suffering. After being treated in the PROMETA program, Greg feels better than ever. He still attends a 12-step program, but feels that PROMETA enabled him to get much more out if it.
For Adrian, drugs started out as a way to relax on weekends. But soon, experimentation gave way to dependence. Although he says he knew he needed it, he initially refused help from his family. He tried to quit on his own, with only short term sucess. Adrian admits he was afraid of the discomfort and challenges associated with recovery.
Steve is a professional buinessman who is a founding partner in a real estate firm. He'd never been addicted to alcohol or drugs until he found crystal meth. He was smoking meth daily until he received his treatment in the PROMETA program. Now, he says that the cost of the PROMETA program was pennies in exchange for getting his life back.
Lena's crystal meth use was destroying her life. She wanted to stop, but despite her heartfelt vows, legal ramifications and her family's pleading, she found herself feeling helpless and hopeless to stop. With the help of the PROMETA Center she found a way to get treated without having a prolonged separation from her family. Today Lena is working, she's back in school, and she's filled with hope for herself and for her family.
Kevin had reached the heights of his professional success, but the crystal meth that kept him going began to destroy his work, his friendships and his health. He tried many treatment programs to stop, but despite the support of his employers and friends, the cravings were always an obstacle he fought. Whenever he tried to stop, his cravings by the third day were so strong that he would relapse. The PROMETA program gave him the relief from the cravings that had always crippled his recovery.
Brad is a successful executive at a major corporation. He'd never had issues with excessive use of drugs or alcohol, so he never imagined that he'd become addicted to meth. By the time he sought help, he'd lost nearly everything he cared about. Brad says the PROMETA Treatment didn't erase his reasons for using, but he does say helped him to understand that he had issues that he could deal with, and a life beyond his dependence.
For Holly, smoking meth became to be a means of survival. She was in and out of rehab and treatment centers, but the withdrawal and anxiety were more than she could bear. All of the significant relationships in her life were nearly destroyed. With the support of her family, her doctor, and PROMETA she's found the foundation to leave meth behind and rebuild her life with family and her son.
Meth turned Robert's life into a series of painful and dangerous experiences. He felt as though there was no way to escape from the way his life had become. His addiction led desperation and with no other way to meet his needs, he resorted to robbery. Even a 3 year stint in state prison couldn't break meth's hold on him. Recognizing that he didn't want to die as a result if his addiction, he asked his parents for help.
